For the NSYSA/Region IV Portion of Washington Youth Soccer Recreational Cup

During the Tournament, individual match results will be provided via the individual Gender/Level brackets below:

Following the event, The Overall Results from the Region IV Portion of the Washington Youth Soccer Recreational Cup this link will provide results-> for each of the Region IV Teams moving on to the State Level either as Region IV Champions, Wild Cards or Alternates.

How Points are Determined and Awarded during those NSYSA Preliminary Round Matches in which Points will be used to determine teams moving onto the Semis or Finals. Should both games end in a tie and or should both teams win each game by a similar score then the 2nd match will need to go into OT with two 5-minute halves - no golden goal - and should the score still be tied then KFM to determine a winner for a team to advance.

Rules in brief:

  1. Two games for NSYSA hosted preliminary round
  2. Preliminary matches played Saturday, Nov. 18th and Sunday, Nov. 19th. Thanks to TSC for scheduling Lobe for U11 and 12's.  Gordon 1 and 2 as well as Integrity Stadium for U13-19 play.
  3. Yes home then away for the head-to-head matches and possibly OT and Spot-Kicks should we be completely tied in the first two games based on points.
  4. All U11 and U12 matches are 30-minute halves, and all U13 and above games will be 35-minute halves.

The NSYSA of the Washington Youth Soccer Recreational Cup will be conducted as follows:
Preliminaries Matches will be played on November 18 & 19

NSYSA's District IV intends to schedule games at Gordon fields, Lobe and Integrity Stadium.

2023 State Quarter-Finals December 2 & 3 at Gordon and Lobe fields in Silverdale

Semi-Final and Final December 9th & 10th:

Application Process for the Washington Youth Soccer

Entry Fees & Registration Instructions -

The Total Entry Fee for Teams participating in the current Washington Youth Soccer Recreational Cup will again be $360 per team. Each team shall pay this fee directly to their Club.

The Entry Fees for all accepted teams will be billed (via the NSYSA website) to each applicable club by the NSYSA Treasurer following the Application Deadline.

NSYSA hosted Sports Authority Washington Youth Soccer Recreational Cup-winning teams will receive T-Shirts and NSYSA Recreational Cup Championship medals.

Team Staff Members shall Log-on to the NSYSA website to complete the registration application.

Note: Team Staff Members affiliated with more than one team, remember to mark the applicable team Active before proceeding.

Click on Apply to submit the team's application

The application will then be reviewed and Approved or Denied by the applicable Club & Registrars. The team's Application Status may be monitored on the NSYSA website, Recreation Cup link.

Registration Deadline

The Deadline to submit your Washington Youth Soccer Recreational Cup Application to NSYSA no later than 5PM Monday October 30, 2023.
Each Club may establish its own earlier deadlines to ensure they have sufficient time to process the applications for the tournament.

Late entry requests will be evaluated by the Sports Authority Washington Youth Soccer Recreational Cup NSYSA Director. Acceptance will only occur in those instances where a late entry benefits the scheduling and play of the tournament.
