Both are flyingfly out to Arizona to take part in the National championships at the end of February. Mario Vukic is a founding member of the team formed by Skinner at U13 and has finished the team, AND the divisions, top scorer in every season on the journey this team took, winning consecutive RCL D4 (27), D3 (16), and D2 (15) championships and finishing 4th in D1 (14) this year. Mario scored the winning goal in the regional final game for the WA state EPD 99s to put the team through to the national championships with a silky piece of footwork and a fantastic finish. Quinn Dick joined the KAFC team 2 years ago, having impressed in games against the boys that year for Gig Harbor. Quinn became an integral part of the team. He is a fast strong center back, composed on the ball and commanding in the air. His athleticism and strength has been a major factor in the boys success. Coach Kevin Skinner said of the boys,"Both Mario and Quinn have been so important to this team and its success for different reasons. Mario is the most talented goal scorer I have ever worked with. He is skillful, fast, good in the air and unpredictable on the ball. Quinn is probably the best 1v1 defender i have worked with, hes so fast and strong but also very good on the ball. Not only are they both great players but also great young men. Both these boys have a fantastic attitude and work ethic and its not surprise to me that they have been successful. Its a great honor to represent the state team and we as a club are incredibly proud of them. We wish them the best and will be following every moment on the EPD B99 twitter feed!" Congratulations to both Mario and Quinn! WA 1999 Team awards - 3rd place finishers!Team awards picture after our WA 1999 boys beat North Carolina 2 to 0 to finish in 3rd Place.
