A few quick highlights,

• Led by US Soccer, the age group formation change was made based on additional critical feedback, data, and expert input to better align players with their school-grade peers and help increase participation
• National youth soccer organizations including US Youth Soccer, US Club Soccer, and AYSO have aligned around the change to August 1 to July 31
• WYS State Cups – Recreational Cup, Founders Cup, Presidents Cup, and State Championships – will be based on August 1 to July 31 age group formation for 2026-2027

NSYSA scholarships of up to $1,000 will be awarded to eligible candidates (Eligibility: Applicants must have been a current or former member of the Northwest Sound Youth Soccer Association (NSYSA) as a registered player, coach, or referee) who are in their senior year of high school or equivalent. Scholarships are only to be used for tuition, fees, books, supplies, and room and board at a post-secondary institution (e.g. college, university, or technical/vocational school).
Disbursement of scholarship monies will be made directly to the institution of the awarded scholarship recipients.
